An airplane owned by Flanco Leasing, Inc., and CCT, Inc., (the owners) was destroyed in a crash. The owners sued General Insurance Company of America (SAFECO), contending an insurance policy issued by SAFECO covered the loss. SAFECO defended on the ground that the airplane was used as a charter, an activity not covered by the policy in question.
