RABINOWITZ, Justice.

After successfully completing the terms of his probation, William Journey (Journey) moved to have his conviction for disorderly conduct set aside and his criminal record expunged pursuant to AS 12.55.085(e). The district court denied his expunction request, stating that it lacked the authority to do so. Journey appealed and the court of appeals held that the district court did not err in denying Journey's request to expunge...
