OPINION

TAFT, Justice.

Appellant, David W. Simpson, appeals from a take-nothing summary judgment granted in favor of appellee, GEICO General Insurance Company (GEICO). Simpson sued GEICO, his uninsured-underinsured motorist carrier, for injuries sustained in an accident. GEICO declined coverage because, even though Simpson obtained GEICO's permission to settle with the uninsured-underinsured motorist tortfeasor, Simpson did not obtain GEICO's permission...
