BARTEAU, Judge.

Gregory Pfister was charged with two counts of theft, both Class D felonies, and possession of marijuana under 30 grams, a Class A misdemeanor. The charges were set for trial by jury. During voir dire, Pfister attempted to remove a juror by exercising a peremptory challenge.
