Appellant, Johnny Fain Meeks, was convicted by a jury of the offense of aggravated sexual assault. See TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. § 22.021(a) (Vernon 1994). The court assessed punishment at twenty-five years' confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
