This is a redhibition suit in which plaintiff-appellant, Kenneth E. Carpenter, Sr., seeks to rescind the June 14, 1984 sale of a 1983 Monaco motor home. In his petition, Carpenter named as defendants the seller, Lafayette Woodworks, Incorporated d/b/a R.V. Sales (R.V. Sales), and the manufacturer, Monaco Motorhomes, Incorporated (Monaco).
