HASELTON, Judge.

Defendant husband appeals an order denying his claim of exemption from garnishment to satisfy a spousal support judgment. We reverse and remand.

In May 1989, husband and wife obtained a judgment of legal separation in California, which required husband to pay $850 per month to wife as permanent spousal support. Husband subsequently retired, moved to Baker City, and began to collect approximately $800 per month in Social Security benefits....
