CANNELLA, Judge.

Defendant, Edward Charles, appeals the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress evidence. We affirm the conviction and amend the sentence.

On December 9, 1994 defendant was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine in violation of La.R.S. 40:967(C). He entered a plea of not guilty.
