Margaret D. Davis appeals from a judgment entered in the Superior Court (Penobscot County, Pierson, J.) on a jury verdict reducing damages awarded to her from $39,000 to $19,890, pursuant to 14 M.R.S.A. § 156 (1980),1 on her complaint against Woodrow R. Severance for personal injuries suffered by her because of his alleged negligent operation of his automobile. We agree with Davis's contention that the trial court...
