Joseph Shepherd was charged in an 11 count indictment by the Monroe County Grand Jury. As relevant in this case he was charged with the murder of sixteen year old Roxanne Woodson during the commission of a felony; charged with premeditated murder of Roxanne Woodson, and charged with the aggravated assault of two Monroe County law enforcement officers.
