Appellant Edgar Ray Dickey (Dickey) was charged with murder but convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to twenty years in the custody of Mississippi Department of Corrections. Dickey's motion for Judgment Notwithstanding the Verdict (JNOV) or new trial was overruled.
