OPINION

WHITTINGTON, Justice.

In this eminent domain case, Thomas A. Oddo appeals the grant of a directed verdict in favor of the State of Texas and the City of Dallas (collectively, the State). In four points of error, Oddo contends the trial judge erred in (1) excluding his testimony and the testimony of his expert appraiser, and (2) granting a directed verdict in favor of the State.
