The defendants, Ernest Allen a/k/a Michael Hayes and George Cooks a/k/a Lawrence Kelly, were indicted for the first degree murder of Arnold Donnie Morris, in violation of La.R.S. 14:30. The defendants pled not guilty at their arraignment.
