Appellant Deborah J. Thomson was driving her car in the westbound lane on Highway 22 near Charleston when a collision occurred causing her serious injuries. Allen Jones and appellee Carol Riechmann were in their respective vehicles in the westbound lane and behind the Thomson vehicle, which was stopped with its left turn signal activated waiting to turn into the driveway of Dave's One-Stop.
