In this case, we are asked to review awards to two separate plaintiffs against the same defendants following a consolidated trial. We must decide whether the district court properly admitted evidence of a liquidated damages clause; whether the attorney for defendants should have been allowed to testify; and whether the district court properly denied the defendants' motions for directed verdict.
