This is an appeal in a medical malpractice case. Appellant alleged that appellee, Jose R. Carreras, M.D., failed to diagnose and treat an injury-causing condition. Dr. Carreras moved for summary judgment on the grounds that appellant's cause of action was barred by limitations and that his treatment of appellant met the proper standard of care and did not proximately cause appellant's injuries.
