Plaintiff-appellant, Sharon Halbe, appeals the entry of summary judgment in favor of defendant-appellee, Howard Weinberg, M.D. The facts relevant to the appeal appear below.

In October 1982, Halbe consulted Dr. Weinberg and was diagnosed with bilateral fibrocystic disease. On November 10, 1982, Dr. Weinberg performed a bilateral reduction mammoplasty with subcutaneous mastectomy. In April 1983, Dr. Weinberg performed reconstructive surgery...
