Lois Simpson and Alpheus R. Simpson, her husband, appeal the denial of their post trial motion for a new trial because, although the jury found that Lois suffered a permanent injury, it failed to award her any non-economic damages and likewise awarded no damages on Alpheus Simpson's claim for loss of consortium.
