Claimant, James Wolsfeld, sought benefits pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act (Act) (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq. (now codified, as amended, at 820 ILCS 305/1 et seq. (West 1992))) for injuries sustained on December 12, 1990, while in the employ of Elmhurst-Chicago Stone Co. (employer). The arbitrator awarded claimant temporary total disability through the date of the hearing....
