Thomas Berkeley Consulting Engineer, Inc. (plaintiff), a Missouri corporation, sued attorney Allan H. Zerman (defendant) for wrongful garnishment. The garnishment was filed by defendant in a divorce action between the president of the corporation and his wife. Following the divorce action, plaintiff filed a civil action against defendant.
