John Walter Castro, Sr. was found guilty by a jury in Kay County, Oklahoma, on April 17, 1984, of armed robbery and felony-murder. He received sentences of death for the felony-murder and life imprisonment for the armed robbery. Mr. Castro's direct appeal and state post-conviction review of his felony-murder conviction and death sentence were denied by the Oklahoma courts.1...
