Barbara Patterson, the appellant, brought this wrongful death action as personal representative of her daughter, Catherine Patterson, who was killed in a 1987 automobile collision. Catherine Patterson was a passenger in a car which belonged to appellees Donald B. Odell, Sr., and Ida J. Odell. The Odell's car was being driven by their son, appellee Donald B.
