PHILLIPS, C.J., delivered the opinion of the Court, in which GONZALEZ, HIGHTOWER, HECHT, CORNYN, ENOCH, and OWEN, Justices, join.

We must determine whether legally sufficient evidence supports the jury's verdict that petitioner caused the death of respondents' decedent through gross negligence. The court of appeals found both legally and factually sufficient evidence to support the jury finding of gross negligence. 882 S.W.2d 460
