STOVER, Justice.
Appellant was indicted by the Grand Jury of Polk County for the offense of Capital Murder. The indictment charged that appellant, Harlan D. White, Jr., "did then and there unlawfully, intentionally and knowingly cause the death of an individual, namely JACK ALEXANDER, by shooting him in the head with a firearm" on or about May 31, 1992.
