GONZALEZ v. STATE

No. 94-604.

646 So.2d 857 (1995)

Augustin GONZALEZ, Appellant, v. The STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Third District.

January 4, 1995.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Bennett H. Brummer, Public Defender, and Manuel Alvarez, Asst. Public Defender, for appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Atty. Gen., and Paul M. Gayle-Smith, Asst. Atty. Gen., for appellee.

Before JORGENSON, LEVY and GREEN, JJ.

PER CURIAM.

Augustin Gonzalez appeals from a judgment of conviction and sentence for two counts of attempted second degree murder of a law enforcement officer. We affirm the convictions, as the record indicates that the State proffered a race-neutral reason for striking a potential juror. State v. Slappy, 522 So.2d 18 (Fla.), cert. denied, 487 U.S. 1219, 108 S.Ct. 2873, 101 L.Ed.2d 909 (1988).
