DAVIS, Associate Presiding Judge:

Bradley M. Clark appeals from the district court's grant of summary judgment to defendants Darin G. Woolstenhulme, Donald S. Colovich, Farmers Insurance Exchange,1 and Jennifer MacArthur.2 The trial court ruled that because the proximate cause of Clark's injuries was unknown and purely speculative, Clark's negligence claim failed as a matter of law.
