Four defendants, Robert Hanson, Ronald Beavers, Bobby Tracy, and Frank Yager, were convicted of various felony offenses charged pursuant to the Illinois Environmental Protection Act (the Act). (415 ILCS 5/1 et seq. (West 1992).) Three defendants, Hanson, Tracy, and Yager, appeal. Defendant Ronald Beavers has filed no notice of appeal and is not involved in this appeal.
