Plaintiff/appellant Louise Russo brought this wrongful death claim for the death of her husband after an adverse ruling of a Medical Review Panel pursuant to LSA-R.S. 40:1299.41, et seq. Her claim is basically that the failure of Dr. Bert Bratton to diagnose and treat her late husband for a cryptococcal1 infection deprived him of a chance of survival.
