Evelyn P. McKnight was charged by bill of information with obstruction of justice (of a criminal proceeding in which a sentence of death or life imprisonment may be imposed). La.R.S. 14:130.1. She pleaded not guilty and filed a motion for change of venue. After a hearing, the court granted the motion for change of venue. The state has appealed, urging in a single assignment of error that the court erred when it granted the motion for change...
