SMITH, Justice, for the Court:

John David Naples and Nicole Yvette Franks, (appellants), were indicted separately for felony child abuse by the Harrison County Grand Jury and on motion by the district attorney, were joined for trial purposes, even though their defenses were antagonistic. The jury convicted the appellants. Naples was sentenced to fifteen years with five years suspended and Franks was sentenced to fifteen years with three years suspended in the Mississippi...
