Defendant was convicted of possession of cocaine, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967(C), and sentenced to thirty (30) months at hard labor. He filed four assignments of error: (1) that no rational trier of fact, viewing the evidence in a light most favorable to the prosecution, could have found defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, (2) that the district court wrongfully deviated from the sentencing guidelines, and (3) the sentence of the district court...
