Appellants, Simpson County Steeplechase Association, Inc. and Dr. Arnold Pessin (Pessin), appeal from a judgment of the Simpson Circuit Court awarding the appellees, former employees of Simpson County Steeplechase, compensatory and punitive damages based upon their alleged wrongful termination as a result of attending a meeting with Pari-Mutuel Clerks Union of Kentucky (Pari-Mutuel).
