Timothy Pollard, Jarvis Mack, Robert Davenport, and Robert Booker were charged in 1993 along with several other persons in a 17-count indictment with, among other things, being members of a conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, in South Bend, Indiana. Pursuant to plea agreements, Pollard, Mack, and Davenport entered pleas of guilty; Booker went to trial and was convicted on three of the counts presented to the jury. He was acquitted...
