In a jury trial Flake Woody Brooks was convicted of aggravated assault and assessed punishment of ten years' confinement, probated. On appeal he complains of ineffective assistance of counsel, sufficiency of the evidence, and the trial court's exclusion of evidence that a witness was biased because of a financial stake in the trial's outcome.
