Relator was charged by bill of information with arson with the intent to defraud in violation of La.R.S. 14:53. After waiving a jury, he was found guilty as charged by the trial court. The court sentenced him to five years at hard labor, with all but 30 days of that term suspended, and placed relator on probation for five years.
