COYNE, Justice.

Defendant, Irving Thaggard, was found guilty by a district court jury of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree and was sentenced by the trial court to a prison term of 110 months. The court of appeals, in an unpublished decision, affirmed his conviction on direct appeal from judgment of conviction. We granted defendant's petition for review in order to examine defendant's arguments...
