The Baptist Medical Systems Hospitals of Little Rock, Arkansas, provide pathology services to their patients by contract with a group of eight pathologists, incorporated as Pathology Laboratories of Arkansas. A test of a blood or tissue specimen at one of the Hospitals leads to two charges: one from the Hospitals and one from Pathology Laboratories.
