Mrs. Robeline Martinez and her two daughters, Micki M. Browning and Pamela D. Martinez, filed suit against Schumpert Medical Center alleging that the hospital's negligence caused the death of Clifton Martinez. A jury found that the hospital's actions breached the standard of care but did not agree that the defendant's negligence contributed to the death of the patient.
