The defendant, Matthew Z. Savory, was convicted by a jury of forcible rape, § 566.030, RSMo Supp.1992, two counts of kidnapping, § 565.110, RSMo 1986, and three counts of armed criminal action, § 571.015, RSMo 1986. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for the rape conviction, to be served consecutively with sentences of ten years for each count of kidnapping, ten years for one count of armed criminal action, and life imprisonment...
