Lucas and the Bishops were parties to a written contract for deed. Lucas, the seller, brought an action in the District Court against the Bishops.1 He alleged that he was entitled to accelerate the unmatured future installment payments, recover them plus interest and attorney's fees, and foreclose against the property.
