This is an employment discrimination case in which the plaintiff alleges she was terminated because of her age. The plaintiff, Karen Mayo, worked for approximately three years as a sales associate at the defendant, Dillard's Department Store ("Dillard's"), located in the Westridge Mall, Topeka, Kansas.
