In this medical malpractice case the trial judge, fashioning a judgment based on a jury verdict, made the damage award subject to two separate $500,000 limitations on recovery. The court of appeal affirmed. This court granted a writ and we now reverse insofar as the judgment allowed two caps, and reduce the award by $408,000. The limitation of recovery...
