OPINION

LARSEN, Justice.

T.J.V. appeals an order by the juvenile court waiving jurisdiction of proceedings against him, and allowing him to be criminally charged and tried as an adult. TEX.FAM. CODE ANN. § 54.02 (Vernon 1986). In this appeal, Appellant contends that TEX.FAM. CODE ANN. § 55.02(d) (Vernon 1986) required proceedings in the juvenile court to be stayed after the court found he was mentally ill and required mental health services...
