Appellant, Robert Higgs, filed a medical malpractice action arising out of an injury that was allegedly improperly treated. The circuit court, Leon County, granted summary judgment in favor of the Florida Department of Corrections on the ground that the action was barred by the statute of limitations. Because we find that a genuine issue of material fact exists as to when the appellant had knowledge of an injury which may have been caused by medical malpractice...
