On 16 February 1990, plaintiff and defendant executed a written contract whereby plaintiff agreed to construct a boat storage building on defendant's property. Plaintiff commenced construction of the building on 16 March 1990. Thereafter, the parties entered into an oral agreement for the renovation of a sales and service building also located on defendant's property.
