Maddox, Inc., had on January 18, 1991, made a contract with Zeigler/Old Ben Coal Company that required Maddox to demolish a loading facility in one of the coal company's mines, haul the demolished steel structure to the surface, fabricate a new loading facility for installation underground in the place of the demolished one, and install the new facility.
