Appellant appeals from an order finding her to be a mentally ill person and committing her to the Mental Health Division because she is a danger to herself and is unable to care for her basic needs. ORS 426.005(2)(b). We review de novo, State v. O'Neill, 274 Or. 59, 545 P.2d 97 (1976), to determine if there is clear and convincing evidence that appellant is mentally ill, ORS 426.130, and reverse the order of commitment...
