Earl Mayfield (Defendant) was convicted and sentenced on four counts of promoting prostitution under NMSA 1978, Section 30-9-4 (Repl.Pamp.1994) and one count of accepting earnings of a prostitute under NMSA 1978, Section 30-9-4.1 (Repl.Pamp.1994).
