Leadbetter, Inc. and its insurer (hereinafter collectively referred to as "employer") appeal a decision of the Workers' Compensation Commission awarding temporary total disability benefits to Benjamin Penkalski (claimant). Employer contends that the commission erred in finding that (1) American Furniture Co. v. Doane, 230 Va. 39, 334 S.E.2d 548 (1985), does not control this case; (2) the "two causes" rule applies...
