QUINN, Justice.

The Appellant, Melissa Martin, asks whether a written statement lacking the elements of an affidavit may support a perjury conviction. We answer yes and affirm.

FACTS

On January 8, 1993, the grand jury for the 365th Judicial District indicted the Appellant for intentionally and knowingly making two inconsistent statements under oath. The first, written on April 9, 1991, stated that a Gerard Hennessey was "belligerent and argumentative...
